Worldwide Approvals
Our Quality Assurance (QA) System is accredited and registered to ISO9001 and to ATEX requirements for Hazardous area products. We also hold Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and Canadian Standards (CSA) approvals for specific products and our facilities are regularly audited to ensure compliance to these standards and approvals.
Don Electronics – Where Quality Counts
Underwriter Laboratories (UL)
North America
To meet the stringent requirements of the North
American markets we are continually vetted and approved
by Underwriters Laboratories (UL), the major public
safety organisation in America.
The UL listed mark is demanded by the safety and
quality conscious North American market as well
as other markets throughout the world. Many of our
products carry their particular mark and we are
able to have any new product approved if required.
Our UL control units can be found through North
America in many grain, coal and concrete plants.
Quality Standards (ISO9001)
United Kingdom
For the UK market, our quality assurance system
is vetted, accredited and registered with ISO9001
and we are currently working towards ISO9001:2000.
Don Controls is externally audited and registered
by a recognised accreditation service Underwriters
Laboratories Inc. Our customers can have confidence
in our commitment to quality.
Canadian Standards Association (CSA)
North America and Canada
The CSA mark is demanded by the safety and quality
conscious Canadian market.
Don Electronics are continually inspected and
approved by the Canadian Standards authority, the
public safety organisation of Canada. Many of our
products carry this particular mark and we are able
to have any new product approved for this market
place if required.
European Standard (CE)
Europe
Along with our other standards and approvals, Don Controls issues certificates of incorporation and apply the CE mark as appropriate. This helps customers from all over Europe know that our control panels are built and tested to stringent standards.
Our sister company Don Electronics is approved and vetted to ATEX (“Atmosphere Explosable”) standards and can provide control enclosures for equipment intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres through Europe.
ATEX
The ATEX (“Atmosphere Explosable”)
Mark is becoming a new standard in the European
Community.
Many of our products carry this Mark as a sign
that they conform to the extremely stringent ATEX
requirements and we are able to have any new product
approved to this standard as required.
